SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) is the open protocol broadcast encoders and appliances already speak: it corrects packet loss and holds latency low over the unpredictable public internet, so a cellular or hotel-wifi uplink survives like a leased circuit. WAVE terminates that line as a native ingest — nothing new to buy. And there's no decoy address to lure you: the srt:// endpoint appears the day it's real, not before.
Where it composes
Once the feed is inside WAVE it stops being "an SRT stream" and becomes a WAVE source — its audio track extracted and routable onto Dante networks, the full feed transformable, distributable, meterable. Federated across every WAVE spoke as one contribution protocol feeding the whole WAVE plane. SRT in; everything WAVE can do, out.
